LIVING ON SPACE PASTE FOR A MONTH: DAY TWELVE

Categories:Adventures, Canada, Red Deer
I missed a day or two there somehow but hey it’s not like any of you are paying me to subject myself to this bland torture so I don’t feel too bad.

This is a little of a ramble but years back I briefly lost my sense of taste and smell, oh and colour vision. It sucked. It was a few months before my senses suddenly came back. When it did it sort of broke my brain.
It’s actually a huge part of why I started travelling in the first place, knowing what kind of a tasteless, joyless, and grey hell was possible was almost to much to deal with.

Anyway long story short hell is not unpleasant, even in that a kind of joy can be found. No, hell is the absence of sensation so profound you forget what joy ever felt like. Hell is Soylent. Two weeks and change to go 🙁

One of the things not found in hell. The vibrant colours of life…

The other thing not found in hell or Soylent, flavour
